Biography

I predominently work in Scottish hardwoods, selected for each project to add natural beauty to the piece. I love the interesting knarly bits when I'm allowed to use them and when the design calls for it. I would describe my style as more contemporary but simple, I like the wood to speak for itself.

Design is the heart of my practise, I love different, I don't like doing the same thing all the time so even if I make two of the same design they will be different - unless of course you order two table that need to be the same!

I hate the waste that can sometimes be created by making furntiure so I purposely keep and use up the small bits in smaller off the self items available in my online shop. I make a variety of products all the time, mirrors, clocks, chopping boards but can be made to exact measurements as required.
