Rayner Kellas is a family-run furniture studio based in Leith, Edinburgh. We design and make bespoke furniture that strives to blur the line between elegant minimalism and whimsical eclecticism, celebrating material honesty and thoughtful construction. Grounded in traditional craft techniques and informed by modern technology, our work results in tactile, carefully considered pieces, that are made to last.

Jethro is a cabinet maker with over twelve years’ experience in the field. After leaving his architectural studies, and on something of a whim, he moved to rural France, where he worked under a traditional cabinet maker in the Loire Valley. It was here that he developed a deep appreciation for making and gained a strong foundation in traditional craft skills. Following his time in France, Jethro returned to the UK, working in London in senior production roles at bespoke furniture companies before relocating to Scotland.

All our furniture is crafted in our Leith workshop using sustainably and locally sourced materials.
