Biography

For more than 20 years now I have been designing and building furniture, kitchens and oak frames using local Scottish hardwoods. Over this time I have a put together a considerable portfolio of commissions. These range from small & large kitchens, commercial bars, Distillery tasting rooms, industrial displays and numerous pieces of bespoke furniture and wood turnings. Coming into the industry from an Engineering background and being a self taught maker, has given me a unique design perspective. Not being influenced by other makers and with a good undertanding of CAD and engineering fundamentals, has, I believe, allowed me to develop my own style. I have always enjoyed a challenge and and my career to date has certainly given me that.
