Oops, this is a page from our old site and explains why the opage looks screwy! To go to our new site click here.

I am a young designer/maker, just setting out on my adventures in wood. I made my first piece of furniture in 2006 in my back garden with three planks of elm and no idea of what I was doing! Since then (thankfully!) things have changed a bit. Well, okay, a lot. I completed a course of study at Adam Smith College in Kirkcaldy, built a fully kitted-out workshop on a local farm here in Haddington, and have been working professionally for just under a year. I was also fortunate enough to receive a grant from the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust to go on a three-month research trip to North America, where I spent time learning all I could from many of the best furniture makers in the world. I am highly ambitious to make the best furniture that I can, to make 'furniture without compromise'. I am really set up to make the smaller, free standing pieces of furniture rather than whole kitchens or libraries! That said, I'm always up for a challenge... Please look at more of my work on my site, and check out my blog to see what I'm up to at the moment.
