My aim is to produce pieces which have the qualities of: lightness, rich colour or texture, smoothly flowing or crisp sharp forms, and uniqueness. Design features meeting these provisions can be either very simple or complex, and both alternatives interest me. Pieces use mainly high quality birch plywood with inlays or other unusual materials such as artificial ivory, metallic films, etc. and solid timber with marked grain features such as elm and yew.
