Michaela learned her trade as an apprentice in Munich and moved to Scotland in 1980.She set up her own business in 1986 designing and making furniture, from bespoke rocking chairs to complete kitchens.
Hardwoods-especially native Scottish varieties like elm, ash or oak-are Michaela's great passion, because "every piece is unique and presents a new challenge".
