I design and make contemporary and traditionally handcrafted bespoke furniture for commission and exhibition. I like to work closely with the customer, creating the design and meeting their exact specifications. Using Scottish hardwoods sourced from sustainable woodlands, as well as any reclaimed timbers I can get my hands on. My exhibition pieces are all "one-offs"; I like to incorporate other media into my designs (often reclaimed) such as slate, smashed glass, mirrors and metals, to make that one off piece completely original.
