This extending dining table was constructed using quartersawn and crown cut boards from an Oak felled in Hamilton, Lanarkshire. Quite specific details were used including subtly tapering legs, shallow rails that support the tabletop and a sliding dovetail frame that extends to accommodate the loose leaf.
